This job gets better everyday. Although there are those days, and Jessica has gone back to Not Sleeping Through The Night but I still think this is the GREATEST.
I thought I liked being a mom 2 months ago, but no one told me about the MASSES and MASSES of utter enjoyment that comes along with a growing baby – one who developes into a little person, who can recognize you, show preference, grab toys and coo for hours.
My mom always used to say “All she ever wanted to be was a mom” – and I used to think the same thing – but now I know for a fact, I was created specifically for this task. I was made to be a mom. School is great, you learn things – it’s fun to interact with peers – but this, this is what I breathe for.
