slings

- by jodimichelle

I just received this sling in the mail … I love it! As does Jessica. This is great for the evening when she’s tired but not ready for bed and just wants to be held, but I’m making dinner … etc.

If you know of anyone looking for a sling, I highly recommend this one. It was custom made for me by Cabin Baby Designs.
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this one – including New Native baby slings and various slings on ebay as well as looking at the Dr. Sears slings.
All the other slings are great as well – but Dawn, with Cabin Baby Designs, was great to work with. Not only was the customer service great but the product is awesome. The fabric choices are one of a kind and the baby can weigh up to 35 lbs, where as with the others it only goes up to 25 or 30 lbs.

No, I’m not on drugs … it just looks that way because I have psychic eyes who anticipate the flash … hence the expression.

would this one work well with little babies? what kind did you like the best when jessica was little? that’s neat that it is custom made for you!

Yes, this would be great for infants. I did have The Ultimate Baby Wrap when Jessica was teeny, tiny … and this worked well for us. It kept her right next to me, the only thing I would say about this – is when the baby get’s a bit older, the fabric stretches from the weight and makes it harder to keep tight. I used the wrap with Jessica until she was about 5 or 6 months old. However, I do think I would have used the sling more often had I had it earlier. Both are great products.
