Chicago

This past weekend I escaped to Evergreen Park with a friend, Jaimie, to visit another friend, Kerrie – who was recently wed this past summer and moved from Holland out to Evergreen Park.
We had a full roster of things to keep us busy. We went to Ikea in Bolingbrook where I bought some awesome things for Jessica and for me.
We also went to a Meijer in Bolingbrook because Kerrie misses the store. She can’t find another grocery store that has everything she needs in one place and that’s as shopper friendly as Meijer. This was obvioulsy was a big event.
We also went to the Paper Source, Garrett’s Popcorn, shopping on North Ave – which is less busy and has Crate and Barrel, The Land of Nod, great restaurants, The Container Store – which is an orgasm in a shopping aisle for the organizational nut. Plus many more shops. We even stopped in at Z Gallerie.
But it doesn’t stop there – we went to Michigan City on the way home … all in all we did a lot of shopping and a lot of catching up on Grey’s Anatomy. And sleeping.
It was an awesome minivacation.
