Yesterday was Jessica’s 4th birthday and after she woke up and we proclaimed the Good and Wonderful News she ran to the mirror, felt her skin, her body, her hair and looked carefully at her hands then announced to us that Being Four Is SOOOOO Different!
It felt different, it looked different and it sounded different.
Like, duh.

Thanks guys! I cannot believe she’s 4 either, although at the same time it’s happening at exactly the right time.
3 was fun but I’m pretty sure 4 is going to surprise us in ways we don’t even know.
