The Road Trip

Well this is surreal. If you’re reading this I’ve already taken off on this dream come true road trip with my pixie, Jessica.

Road Trip 2012

We’re somewhere within driving distance to home, which is Holland, Mi. A beautiful lake-side town with sandy beaches and water as far as the eye can see. You should visit, it’s enchanting, but we’re leaving that behind for a week to see the wonders of our world by car.

By asphalt, pancake houses, wild flowers and flip flops. Camera’s, tent’s, and waterfalls. Random trees to climb and fresh picked strawberries.

Jessica and I are excited to share this trip with you, so thanks for stopping in to check on the progress. Feel free to continue reading for a little background on why we’re doing this and why it’s such a big deal. Because saying yes to a dream and living out loud is a big deal – I hope you caught the bug.

If you’re brand new to this journey – click on this post which explains the very beginning of this dream. For a little more indepth information click on this post and watch my hands excitedly talk to you about the upcoming trip.

Keep up with us by following my updates on Twitter and Instagram and check back often, I’ll be blogging when I can!

If you’re checking me out because we gave you a card with the address of this website on the back of it – Hi! {{winks}} We’re new best friends. Leave me a comment, like a guest book, I can’t wait to meet all of you, too.

Our children are watching us live and what we are shouts louder than anything we can say.

  1. I found your blog from the Michigan Bloggers United FB page & I love it! I also had a dream to take my kids on a road trip, which was also fulfilled this summer. We drove from Michigan to Washington, seeing a whole lot of awesome stuff along the way, and visiting with family & friends too. Our last big stop on the way home was Mall of America. I’ve been slowly re-capping our trip on my blog, and I look forward to reading more about yours (I’ve only read a couple posts so far)!

  2. Thanks!! Your road trip soubrette amazing, my family is from Washington and we get back there almost every year. What did you all see? I’m gonna check out your recaps too 🙂 I’ll be writing more of mine as the summer winds down.
