I looked up the meaning of Sabbatical and decided I couldn’t use that term. I’m not a student or a teacher (traditionally) but, it sums up what’s going on.
This blog has been amazing for me. A place to write and share and inspire. A place to dream. I have nothing but fond feelings for the friends and “community” that was created here throughout the years but now it’s time for me to step back.
I’m taking a break – with no deadline and no rules. I might stop in once in a while to share or I might not. It might be a month or 6 or 12 or more. I know that all kinds of things will stop because I won’t be constantly pushing something live – and that breather? Feels right.
It’s been on my mind for a very long time but I wasn’t ready to let go of the instant gratification of this site. It’s hard to put this on hold, it scares me a little – yet, I feel so ready to go silent. More ready than ever before.
A very humble Thank You for all your support, a very sincere I Love You for all your combined effort and every conversation and a very simple See You Soon for when we meet again.

I am (sort of) OK with you doing this… as long as I know where you go. You have such a distinct and unique voice!

I will miss reading your words and feeling a bit connected to you and your world! But I totally get it – the instant gratification of blogging is great – addicting even – but it has always left me a little empty in the long run (that’s probably why I’ve started and stopped writing at three different blogs over the past 7 years!). I hope your break brings you peace and freedom from all the noise & voices of the web. Real life really is so much more enjoyable when your not writing a blog post in your head as you experience it!!

Whatever you need and makes you happy is what you must do – although your words, thoughts, ideas, projects will be missed. Keep me posted on FB if you ever decide to start one of those cooking classes or something DIY.
Awe! Just when I started looking forward to reading more about you, you’re stepping back…for now, at least. Still, I’m excited for whatever life has for you in your new chapter

Taking a break is an awesome thing. I took most of last October off and then again took a break in May. I’m ready again! I love being online and yet I also love my life when I’m not.
