Midday Etsy: Bloomers!

Spring is here and with it, dress wearing season for our very girly princess child … and with that comes a need for some bloomers.
Polka dots
Simply adorable
Makes me want to wear bloomers
Summer vibe If these came in Jessica’s size, I would have purchased them without caring about the price. They speak to me. Your Bottom Is Lonely Without Me!!
Patchwork bloomers
Lacey bums Irresistible.
Bloomers and bonnet Apparently I waited too long to care about bloomers for Jessica. She’s so big now.
Well, I guess I’ll have to make my own!

Good ideas

Ok – I LOVE this idea. Love it. I came across this website through another one – but for the life of me I cannot remember which one. Sorry.
There’s a few other websites by this same woman – her portfolio as well as an etsy shop.
Photos like this make me stop and think about why I own a camera in the first place. I take a ton of photos of Jessica or our house – simple things, yes, but some times busy things. I get inspired to try something new and see a photo for the beauty in crumbs.
I might try something like this – but we’ll see how it goes. Either way it’s good inspiration.

Two steps forward, one step back

I love bread. I love pasta. I love carbs. Carbs are not my friend with gestational diabetes and I need to find a way to reduce them in my diet not only now but for life so I don’t give myself Type-2 diabetes later on or fall back into this mess with another pregnancy. (my blood sugar levels haven’t been staying in the safe range with just monitoring diet and exercise, I’ll most likely have to by on insulin …)
Here’s some links I’ve found and recipes I’m going to try …

Tuna salad I love tuna salad!
I’ll keep looking and experimenting, but again – please pass on your favorite recipes or health conscience cooking tips.
