{Life List} Rent a beach house with friends

August 24-26, 2012 we rented a beach house with friends. And by beach house, I mean Farm House near the beach.
I’ll let the photos tell the story, but suffice it to say – we’ll be returning again and again to North Port and her fields, chickens and this dream of a house.
While you’re up there, because you should all go visit (obviously), you should take M-22 every chance you get. Eat in Leland at the cheese shop, get the pretzel bread. You should rent a boat in Glen Arbor for an afternoon and buy some candles. Specifically Shore Line Jar Candles in bulk, found in a shop in Leland. And Capri Blue VOLCANO which I found in Glen Arbor.
We took this weekend to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary a little early and we drank a lot of wine, ate amazing food and laughed … it was the perfect weekend.

Capri blue Volcano is my favorite candle from Antrhopologie!
It was SO fun. And I am now in love with those candles, will keep them in steady supply from now on – there’s just something about a house with candles that you burn regularly. (Every day!)
